The following text files are part of a report submitted by Mr. Marvin Hobbs of Chicago (he is rather well known in the antique radio collector's community as an ex-engineer for the legendary E.H.Scott radio company),in 1952 in his capacity as a consultant to the Mutual Security Agency, regarding the R R Savodi (now Electronska Industrija) factory in Nis, Yugoslavia.
In this section, Mr. Hobbs describes production methods and problems in the Nis factory.
This text file contains a list of equipment and materials usedin the Nis tube factory, and a list of the equipment needed for a tube factory that could produce 1,500,000 tubes per year. Note that the costs are given in 1952 dollars..
